Pittsburg State University is seeking quotations to supply labor, material, and equipment to repair existing underground storage tanks per the available RFQ. Pittsburg State University is seeking quotations to supply labor, material, and equipment to repair existing underground storage tanks. Remove and replace four (4) failed spill buckets for the stand-by diesel Underground Storage Tanks. Work will include, but may not be limited to: - Remove 4' x 4' concrete slab at the tanks. - Excavate soil to expose the tank tops. - Remove the existing drop tube or overfill prevention valve and spill bucket. - Install the spill buckets and new risers for tank probes. - Setting new buckets to the appropriate grade and new 18" manholes for the probes. - Form and pour concrete pads around the spill buckets and probe manholes. - Replace existing overfill valves, adapter and caps as well as probe adapters and caps.
