Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Mexico, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The City of Mexico, Missouri is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to perform Design and Construction Engineering for replacing a 126ft bridge on Pollock Rd. Design Engineering responsibilities may include but are not limited to the preparation of Preliminary and Contract plans and Right of Way Plans. As part of preparing the plans, the consultant may need to perform surveying, geotechnical investigations, hydraulic studies and provide environmental and historic preservation services/permits including the preparation of PS&E and final documents. Construction Engineering responsibilities may include work with contractors, assisting with preconstruction conferences, performing periodic site inspections, preparing change orders, inspecting construction materials, reviewing shop drawings, conducting construction tests and inspections, being present during critical construction operations, and working with City personnel to ensure project deadlines are met. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
