For Morton School of Excellence and Skinner North Classical School Renovations THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO invites pre-qualified General Contractors to bid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between the Board and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2017 Morton School of Excellence - Roof Replacement - Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: August 13, 2023 Skinner North Classical School - Chiller plant installation, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades and other improvements - Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: August 12, 2024 ONE (1) ORIGINAL AND TWO (2) COPIES OF THE BID SOLICITATION ARE TO BE SUBMITTED. ORIGINAL SIGNATURE SETS TO BE SWORN TO BEFORE A NOTARY PUBLIC. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid price is required. PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BOND: 100% of the Base Contract Price Printed copies/sets of the Bidding Documents will not be provided by the Architect of Record to any Bidding Contractor
