The project is for the construction of a 90-foot timber boardwalk and connecting trail. The boardwalk structure will serve as an extension of an existing boardwalk and connect the end of the structure to walking trail. The project will also address roof settlement issues for the existing boardwalk shelters. Each Contractor shall furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract for faithful Performance; a separate surety bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract for the payment of Labor and Materials; and a separate Maintenance bond in an amount equal to 25% of the total contract price up to $200,000; plus 10% above $200,000.
