PURPOSE The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a requirements contract for electrical services for Chesterfield County ("the County") and Chesterfield County Public Schools ("CCPS"). For purposes of this IFB, "the County" and "CCPS" are synonymous, except where otherwise required by context or law. Services shall be provided on an "as needed" basis. Work under this contract shall be for various projects and will be of a nature where electrical work is required to maintain services. The County reserves the right to issue a separate procurement for large projects exceeding $100,000.00. The County reserves the right to make multiple contract awards. BACKGROUND The County spent approximately $400,000.00 last fiscal year for electrical services. However, the County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work under this contract.
