As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District. These documents will be the basis for determining which bidders are qualified to bid on this Project. Bids will not be accepted if a Contractor has not been prequalified where prequalification is required. A Bidder who has not previously completed the Districts PreQualification Questionnaire must complete and submit the PreQualification Questionnaire to the District not less than ten (10) working days prior to the latest date for submission of Bid Proposals. Failure of such a Bidder to timely submit a completed PreQualification Questionnaire and to be deemed a PreQualified Bidder for the Work will result in rejection of the Bidders Bid Proposal for nonresponsiveness. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that all MEP subcontractors holding any of the licenses listed above are properly prequalified before submitting a bid. This prequalification requirement applies even if the subcontractor will perform, or is designated to perform, work that does not require one of the licenses listed above, but the subcontractor holds one of the licenses listed above.
