**As of May 1, 2023, project was awarded to Granite Rock Company, awarded amount is $1,170,158.50.** The project includes demolition, tree removal, and earthwork; storm drain pipes, structures, and bioretention pond; concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and walkways; site retaining walls; hot mix asphalt paving; site furnishings including drinking fountain, bike rack, benches, and bleachers; play area including play equipment, engineered wood fiber surfacing and poured in place surfacing; and planting and irrigation. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. A California Class A General Engineering Contractors License is required of the prime contractor to bid this contract. Bidders must direct all questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding Documents to Owner in writing no later than Janaury 23, 2023. No addenda will be issued to Bidders after Janaury 27, 2023. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by written Addenda and posted to the City's website. It is the Contractors responsibility to check the City's website for Addendums Bid Bond: 10% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work within 180 Calendar Days from the Commencement Date and 15 Calendar Days following substantial completion to achieve Final Completion.
