As of May 2023, this project is under construction. Wilson Blvd Hereinafter Known as Owner, for the Science + Technology Center Bid Package 02 - Site Demolition and New Construction, Located at 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd. Galesburg, Il 61401. The Bid Package 02 Scope of Work is the Construction of the New 46,000 Square Foot Science + Technology Center and Site Improvements. Representatives of all bidding firms are requested to attend, to present any questions they may have and to attend a "walk through" of the project site. Neither the Architect nor Owner will respond to questions verbally regarding the Project outside the Pre-Bid Conference. All requests for clarifications or interpretations outside the Pre-Bid Conference shall be made to the Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. Addenda items resulting from the Pre-Bid Conference will be disseminated to all registered bidders. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of Carl Sandburg College. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act", 820 IL CS 130/0.01 et seq., the "Equal Employment Opportunity Clause" - rules of the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the "Illinois Drug Free Workplace Act" and all other applicable and governing laws and ordinances.
