The Town of Winchester invites sealed bids for the replacement of the Jones culvert on Back Ashuelot Road, and associated work, in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by SVE Associates, 439 West River Road, Brattleboro, Vermont. Scope of Work: includes but is not limited to the following: removal of existing asphalt, culvert, and section of water main; installation of a section of water main, 5' x 12' box culvert, guard rail, grading, paving, and landscaping. A bid bond is required as are payment and performance bonds. Bids will not be accepted by email. The stream channel work is to begin no earlier than July 1, 2023, be substantially complete by October 20, 2023 with final completion by or before November 10, 2023. The project is funded by the Town with reimbursement by NH Department of Environmental Services.
