Question End Date 2/2/2023 12:00 PM Anticipated Award Date 2/28/2023 Scope of Services Work performed under this contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment necessary to provide the completion of the Celebration K-8 School Athletic Field project as shown in the drawings provided by Hanson, Walter & Associates, (Attachment 1, HWA JOB#1276-01 Sheets 1-10). Work shall include parking lot maintenance, security fencing, existing court rework, rehabilitation of soccer field, construction of a 1/5 mile running track and minor concrete work. Parking lot maintenance shall include crack sealing with non-shrink asphalt crack seal and resurfacing with a sand slurry asphalt mix. Work shall include restriping of the parking stalls and removal of four basketball goals located within the parking area. The parking area will have a 6', black chain link fence constructed to separate the pedestrian walk area from the parking area. Two 10' openings, with double 5' swing gates, will be installed adjacent to the covered play area allowing for maximum access during drop off and dismissal. Along the fence line near the 7 parking spaces and track, an access gate approximately 12' total opening will be installed for field maintenance vehicular pass-through. In addition, the proposed Parent queuing circulation route will be marked on pavement. Along the west boundary there exists three tennis courts. The southern two most courts will be resurfaced with a 1" SP-9.5 asphalt following crack sealing. The southern most court will have two basketball goals installed and the court shall be striped for basketball. The court just to the north of the proposed basketball court will be resurfaced and remain as a multiuse court. The northern most court will be removed, and the area sodded. In addition, the handball courts adjacent to the field will be demolished as well. Where the court and fencing is proposed to be removed, a celebration aluminum picket fence shall be installed matching the fence just north of the court to be demolished. The existing soccer field will be regraded and raised, creating positive drainage. The soccer field will be surrounded with a new asphalt running track with an interior running lane length of 1/5 of a mile. The drainage will be revised to provide new yard inlets and ditch bottom inlets to improve the drainage of the soccer field and running track area. This will include new inlets and drainage culverts. On the South side of the campus at the entrance off Mulberry Avenue there are a series of sidewalks existing as you enter the campus that include grass areas between the sidewalks. The grass areas will be removed and replaced with concrete. The work will include the adjustment (raising) of a ditch bottom inlet top and lowering of an existing sanitary manhole rim. The project will be proposed as a trade Hard Bid, to ensure adherence to the project schedule, with completion in a phased schedule. Phase 1 focusing on the resurfacing and completion of the parking lot and fence project. Phase two focusing on all field work, demolition refinishing of courts, and Mulberry Avenue sidewalk completion. A separate contract document is included as part of this bid, see Attachment 2. No exceptions to the contract will be accepted. The lowest, responsive and responsible bidder shall be prepared to sign the attached contract "as is" within twenty-four hour notice of the posting of the intend to award.
