Proposals shall be good for a period of 45 day from date of signing. No partial sets of drawings of project manuals will be issued. Proposal shall be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. For sealed bids, the current Certificate of Responsibility Number of the bidder shall appear on the outside of each sealed envelope containing a proposal, said envelope being plainly marked Bid for Old West Point Road Improvements. If submitting electronically, please include this information on a cover page with your bid submission. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond/security deposit or certified check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid, payable to Oktibbeha County as bid security. In the event that an electronic bid is submitted, a copy of the bid bond must be included with the submission. If submitting electronically, a hard copy of all bid documents must be provided within 3 business days if requested after the bid opening. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid along with a certificate of insurance with the limits depicted by the proposal is required. Upon review and acceptance, award of the Proposal will be by an executed Board Order of Oktibbeha County authorizing the work to be performed.
