The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. A detailed scope has not been released. ODNR maintains campgrounds at 54 State Parks with a total of 8,970 campsites. This project will continue improvements to the electrical utility infrastructure of Parks and Watercraft facilities, primarily at campgrounds. Locations may include but are not limited to East Harbor State Park, Geneva State Park, and Hocking Hills State Park. ODNR continues its ongoing facility assessment and master planning efforts, working with Parks and Watercraft, to identify division and facility needs such as changes in use requirements, operating efficiencies, long-term maintenance/durability issues, and will utilize, adjust, and manage funding to address these needs across ODNR's facility portfolio. The intent of this project is to procure design and construction administration services for electrical improvements at the aforementioned parks. Many of the parks have existing electrical connections that do not provide the appropriate level of electrical service required. ODNR anticipates performing electrical improvements to campground campsites to include 50/30/20A electrical service. The expected lifespan of the improvements will be a 30-year design. The design for improvements should consider current and future trends and usage analysis. The electrical upgrade will include Utility owned - new primary cable, utilityowned new transformers, new standalone stainless-steel distribution panels, new branch circuiting to new camp site pedestals (50/30/20A). Electrical system design must follow the latest NEC guidelines as the NEC code has changed from previous editions. The selected A/E firm will be required to coordinate new equipment installation, new primary cable installation, all scheduled outages, and utility agreements that include ODNR.
