**As of March 1, 2023 project was awarded to Northern Mechanicals Inc. awarded amount is $163,440.00 and Watson Electric Inc. awarded amount is $218,254.00 **  Ogdensburg Housing Authority, herein called the Owner, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-2 of the General Municipal Law, invites the submission of sealed bids forthe construction work involved with the Mechanical and Electrical Upgrades Project for the Ogdensburg Housing Authority at Riverview Towers and Centennial Terrace Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to replace the pneumatic pump controls at Riverview Towers and Centennial Towers, Replace AHU-1 and provide a new combustion air system at Riverview; replace the MV Switch, Main Distribution Panel, and Electric Panels at Riverview Towers. Proposals in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond issued by a surety company which shall insure the Owner to the extent of ten percent (10%) of the Proposal or a certified check to be used by the Owner to insure the Owner in lieu of a bid bond to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal. Proposals less than $100,000 must be accompanied by a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% ofthe proposal. A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, Howeverthe Owner may require another form of security for faithful performance. Sample forms for bid, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER. The General Municipal Law of the State of New York requires that bidders certify, under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included within the Bid Form. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
