The Village of Jemez Springs is seeking proposals for professional engineering services for a Preliminary Engineering Report for the Village of Jemez Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant to address water quality issues as well as EPA Administrative Order CWA-06-2022-1812. The PER will be an evaluation of the current wastewater facility, conditions, and equipment, with a final report to contain recommendations for improving processes and, at a minimum, the following: Executive Summary, Project Planning Area, Existing Facilities, Need for Project, Alternatives Considered (for Power and Waste Treatment), Proposed Project, Conclusions and Recommendations. The plant was last upgraded in 2013. The PER should include an inspection of the entire ferric system and the flow into both basins with recommended modifications, an evaluation of the UV system and UV computer rack, and any other issues that may not be known. The duration of the professional services contract resulting from this RFP shall be for (60) days from the date of award and may be extended for up to (180) days from the date of award.
