Regrade riverbank, place riprap along the Assiniboine River and reconstruct 650m of flood protection dike in River Lot 73, 74 and 75, Parish of Baie St. Paul, Rural Municipality of Cartier. PHASE 1 Phase 1 Winter Works as shown on the Plans and described in this Special Provision shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the Work as follows: - Clearing and grubbing; - Excavate lower bench, dispose of unsuitable material; - Place geotextile above waterline and place rip rap in water and on lower bench; PHASE 2 Phase 2 Summer Works as shown on the Plans and described in this Special Provision shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the Work as follows: - Strip topsoil and organics from existing dike and new dike footprint. Remove from site; - Prepare foundation of expanded dike footprint; - Excavate new dike cut-off trench; - Excavate riverbank above river level, dispose of unsuitable material; - Place and compact suitable excavated clay material for the reconstruction of the dike crest and slopes; - Place geotextile and rip rap on re-graded riverbank, above water level; - Grade and trim dike crest and slopes; - Place salvaged organic topsoil material; - Hydroseed/mulch.
