Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mendham, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,859-square-foot educational facility.

State Project Number: 27-3100-050-21-2000, 27-3100-060-21-2000 Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) as of the date and time of the bid opening as C068 Roofing Membrane Modified Bitumen. Additionally, if the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC in the following categories, the Bidder shall retain a subcontractor in those disciplines that the Bidder is not so classified, such subcontractors shall be named in the bid, and all documentation required by the bid documents and by law to be provided for such subcontractors shall be provided in the time required by the bid documents and by law: C030 Plumbing; and C032 HVACR; and C047 Electrical Further, if the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC as either 008 General Construction or C009 General Construction / Alterations / Additions, the Bidder shall be required to retain a subcontractor that is DPMC classified as either C008 or C009. However, the general construction subcontractor shall not be named in the bid. But all required documents for the roofing and general construction subcontractors (Business Registration Certificate, Public Works Certificate, etc.) shall be provided after the award. Bids shall be submitted on the provided proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond draw to the order of the Mendham Township Board of Education for not less than ten percent of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor. Location- ROOF REPLACEMENT AT MENDHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 18 W MAIN ST. BROOKSIDE, NJ 07926 ROOF REPLACEMENT AT MENDHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL 16 WASHINGTON VALLEY RD., BROOKSIDE, NJ 07926 The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the re-roofing of Roof G at the Mendham Elementary School. It also includes, but is not limited to, the re-roofing of roofs H, I, and G, as well as masonry repairs on the boiler room chimney at the Mendham Middle School. The Scope of Work for the project is determined by the complete construction documentation, including all addenda thereto issued during the bid cycle, and is not limited by the brief summary of the Work provided here. Requests received by the Architect after 5:00 P.M. on March 3, 2023 may not be considered.
