The City of Springfield (Southwest Treatment Plant and Northwest Treatment Plant) is seeking qualified firms or persons to provide Hoist Inspections. A contract will be issued in the form of a yearly contract.The Bidder represents, in accordance with RSMo. 285.530.2 that they have not employed, or subcontracted with, unauthorized aliens in connection with the scope of work to be done under the IFB and agrees to provide an affidavit to the City of Springfield affirming that they have not, and will not in connection with the IFB, knowingly employ, or subcontract with, any person who is an unauthorized alien. The Scope of Work to be done under the Contract shall be subject to modification and supplementation upon the written Agreement of the duly authorized representatives of the Contracting parties. No provision in the Contract shall be changed or modified without the execution of an amendment to the Contract, mutually agreed to by the City and the Contractor and processed through the Division of Purchases. Upon request by the City, the Contractor shall provide an estimate of cost of any additional work, products, or services to be incorporated by a modification to the Scope of Work and the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid where an investigation or consideration does not satisfy the City that the Bidder is qualified to carry out properly the terms of the contract documents. The cutoff for any questions pertaining to this bid is February 2, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. (CST). The City is committed to providing opportunities to DBE, MBE, and WBE prime, general and subcontractors and encourages such business enterprises to submit responses.
