Site work and paving for a civil project in Jesup, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 31 the project was awarded to Georgia Asphalt Producers for $1,214,948.88. The Work under this contract will consist of the following: Furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to resurface and restripe approximately 5 miles of county roads, perform full depth reclamation on approximately 1 mile of a county road, and remove and replace approximately 96 lineal feet of cross drain culvert. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check of Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount.
