For Pond Maintenance 2023 The Work includes the removal of all sediment, debris, and unwanted vegetation within the detention/sedimentation ponds, drainage swales, and storm outfalls and other maintenance work. Additionally, all sand filter media, gravel, and filter fabric within the sand filter basins are to be removed and restored to the originally designed condition. PVC underdrain pipes and cleanouts within water quality ponds are to be flushed/jetted and cleaned. Pond maintenance work is proposed for four (4) ponds as a base bid. Additionally, bid alternate include the maintenance of an additional two (2) pond in the City of Leander. The OWNER's representative opening the Bids shall establish the official cut-off time for receiving the Bids. Sealed bid should be plainly marked with Bidder's name and address, and as follows: "CITY OF LEANDER POND MAINTENANCE 2023" (Do not open before: February 09, 2023 at 2 PM) Bidders should read and understand all terms and conditions contained in these Contract Documents. Contract Time is of the essence and all Work shall be substantially completed within One Hundred and Twenty (120) Calendar Days and finally completed within one hundred and fifty (150) Calendar Days after the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages are five hundred ($500.00) Dollars per Calendar Day. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in Bids received.
