It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to become familiar with all aspects of this project prior to bid submittal. Failure to meet this requirement will not be grounds for a change order. During the bid process, all communication relating to this bid shall be directed to the Procurement Lead identified above. Failure to meet the requirement may consider your bid non-responsible. All questions and product substitution requests relating to this project shall be directed to the Procurement Lead identified above in the form of an email no later than 3:00 p.m, January 31, 2023. Answers will be provided to all bidders. Project consists of installing wall dividers at Indian Trail Elementary School, Marvin Elementary School, Wesley Chapel Elementary School per the specifications listed in the bid documents and drawings provided by DH&A Architecture. Contract documents are intended to specify basic description of the Work to be provided in the contract. The Contractor is responsible for field verifying all aspects of this project and to comply with all current local, state, and national codes and regulations. This includes, but not limited to, complying with all ADA requirements. In the event of a conflict between the Scope of Work and code regulations, the Contractor shall notify the assigned UCPS Project Coordinator for direction. Project is to be considered Turn-key. Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labors, permits, inspections, supervision, travel, etc. as needed for intended purpose of project. February 14, 2023 - Notice to Proceed anticipated for release (Contact Procurement Lead if not received). April 7, 2023 - Commence work onsite (Teacher Workday) April 14, 2023 - Substantial Completion (Teacher Workday) April 21, 2023 - Final Completion All Work must be coordinated with assigned UCPS Project Coordinator to ensure no disruptions to school activities. UCPS reserves the right to modify the above schedule as needed. Spring Break is from April 7, 2023 through April 14, 2023. Work taking place outside of the days specified above may take place on business days after 2:30 p.m. provided that the classrooms are prepared for class the next morning.
