The Roscommon County Road Commission is seeking proposals for the following: Engineering Services for the preventive maintenance of the Keno Rd Bridge (STR 9030) over the S Branch of the AuSable River located in sections 8/9 of AuSable Twp. (T24N R1W) and for the preventive maintenance of the Old Us-27 Bridge (STR 9031) over the Wolf Creek located in section 15 of Roscommon Twp. (T21N R4W) Proposals are being requested for providing preliminary and final design. The design engineering shall be in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Plans and Specifications. A quality based selection process for the design will be used to award the contract. The preventive maintenance of the bridges over the S Branch of the AuSable River and Wolf Creek is funded under the Michigan Department of Transportation's Local Bridge Program for the fiscal year 2025. The preventive maintenance of structure 9030 is to include resealing the reference line joints, epoxy injection of abutment cracks, placing riprap for scour protection along each abutment, and placing silane treatment on the concrete fascia beams. The preventive maintenance of structure 9031 is to include epoxy overlay extending 10 feet onto the approaches, epoxy injecting abutment cracks, riprap as scour protection, silane treatment on the concrete railings and concrete beam fascia, and resealing the reference joints. This project must be let to contract in the Nov/Dec 2024 Fall Letting. Construction to be completed by November 15, 2025.
