**As of April 21, 2023, project was awarded to Davidson Const, awarded amount is $1,183,519.50.** The scope of this project includes the reconstruction of Florida Street in the Town of Alford, Florida from 6th Ave to Park Street for a total project length of 0.413 miles. Included in this project is hot-mix asphalt paving along with excavation, base work, shoulder rework, ditch grading, clearing and grubbing and grassing. Drainage improvements are also included consisting of cross drain pipe culvert replacements along with concrete mitered end sections. This project also contains utility work consisting of the construction of an 8 gravity sewer main with concrete manholes under Florida Street throughout the project limits. Signing and Pavement Marking improvements are also included along with the placement of Thermoplastic markings on the final asphalt surface. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
