A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Authority, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety. The bid bond shall be from a company which is "on the U.S. Treasury Departments List, as an approved Surety Company" in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with the bid. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity as set forth in the documents. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in specifications must be paid on this project. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to bid opening. All 10 units to be roofed with 26 Gauge Ag Panel roofing, Drip edge 1X2 inch, ridge roll, rake trim gable end trim. Allow 2 inches overhang for ag panels. 2. Roof jacks to be installed to all vent pipes with appropriate sealant 3. 10 buildings (see attached map and drawings) highlighted on attached map are included in bid which includes: a. 6-2 story buildings which have 6 units in each building including roofing porches on front and back of unit (L=102 feet X W=25 feet X H =18.5 feet) b. 4 - 1 story buildings which have 2 units in each building (L=81 feet X W=25 feetX H=12 feet) 4. Remove all layers of shingles. Clean up and haul off existing shingles, nails, etc. around buildings, and drag magnet 5. Replace damaged decking with Vi inch sheathing plywood 6. All loose decking to be fastened using galvanized ring shank nails 7. Apply synthetic roofing underlayment to entire roof 8. After completion of the roofing, check interior for flu pipes (A/C, hot water heater, vent hood, etc.) that may have been displaced during roof installation
