The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida is accepting competitive sealed bids for GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE CEILING RENOVATIONS. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Fernandina Beach is accepting competitive sealed bids for interior renovations to the ceiling framing in Meeting Rooms A and B at the City's Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse on Bill Melton Road as shown on the attached documents. The work will involve the removal of the existing cantilevered architectural perimeter soffits, modifications as necessary to the existing ceiling framing to accommodate the removal of the soffits and installation of gypsum wall framing at the soffit connections, removal of 10 existing ceiling fans with installation of new recessed lights, and relocation of the existing HVAC ductwork to the revised wall framing above. Work will also include patching and painting of affected walls and ceiling areas. The intent is to duplicate the previously modified ceiling area in the existing dining room adjacent to the two meeting rooms. AWARD Award recommendation shall be made to the most responsive and responsible bidder offering the best value. The City reserves the right, based upon its deliberations and in its opinion, to accept or reject any or all submittals. The City also reserves the right to waive minor irregularities or variations to the specifications and in the bidding process. Successful Bidder is required to have a Business License in the city where their home office is located. If Bidder's business office is located in the City of Fernandina Beach a business tax license is required BOND REQUIREMENTS Bid bonds requirements are outlined in the General Conditions of this Invitation to Bid Any submittal received after the above stated time and date will not be considered. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Bidder to have its Bid delivered to the City of Fernandina Beach, by U.S. Mail, hand delivery or any other method available to him/her; however, facsimile or electronic submittals will not be accepted. Delay in delivery shall be the sole responsibility of the Bidder. Submittals received after the deadline will not be considered. Award of the Bid is subject to authorization and appropriation of funds.
