Renovation of a residential development in Grande-Anse, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Installation of new radon mitigation system, including two (2) sub-slab suction points and vapour barrier membrane installed in the crawlspace. Radon mitigation system to be c/w radon piping, exhaust fan, and exterior wall mounted exhaust. .2 Electrical connection of new mechanical equipment. .3 Installation of new floor hatch to access the crawlspace. Floor hatch to match the existing hardwood flooring in the lounge. .4 Cutting and patching required for work, to match existing conditions. .5 Asbestos abatement required for the drywall joint compound. .6 Post radon mitigation testing once work has been completed to confirm that the radon concentration is reduced by at least 50% from initial conditions. Contractor to submit results from a two-day short term test in every bedroom and compare with premitigation test results provided by DTI. The interim inspection will not be completed until the post radon mitigation test results have been submitted. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
