Site work and paving for a civil project in Eureka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project is generally described as the reconstruction of 6 different FEMA mitigation sites in the township of Eureka, Rice County, Kansas consisting of the following major items: Mobilization LS, Construction Staking LS, Traffic Control LS, Embankment, Excavation, and Compaction, 6,950 Cu. Yds., Debris Removal LS, AB-3 Base (3") 6,453 Sq. Yds., 3/4 " Agg. & Gravel Driving Surface (2"), 6,453 Sq. Yds., CMP Culvert (36") 115 L.F., CMP FES (36") 5 Ea., Corrugated Metal Arch Pipe (42" x 29") 94 L.F., CMAP FES (42" x 29") 4 Ea., Heavy Stone Rip Rap Outlet Protection (12"), 366 Cu.Yds., Seeding, Erosion Control, and 30 ft Sheet Pile Bridge with Precast Concrete Deck Panels, 3 Ea. It is the responsibility of the registered Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc., to view and/or download any addenda issued through the Issuing Office's website. Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. For any questions regarding ordering or viewing of the Bidding Documents please contact the Issuing Office. For other project information, please contact the Engineer. Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications may be required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Contract time will be set in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended.
