Additional viewing times can be coordinated by emailing cao@manitoubeach.ca, but please know that the design engioneer will not be present, with the exception of the Jan 25th date stated in the project manual. The work generally consists of retrofitting the existing Sewage Pumping Station No. 3 with new pumps, piping, ventilation, electrical, controls, appurtenances, and enclose in new station house. Work generally consists of: - Removal of sewage pumps, piping, and related appurtenances from the existing station manhole. - Removal of retaining wall structures around the existing station manhole. - Extension of the manhole structure. - Provision of new pumps, discharge piping, and appurtenances including related electrical work. - Construction of a settling manhole structure. - Modifications to the sanitary sewer inlet and force main piping. - Temporary pumping as required to perform the work. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form contained in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price, made payable to the Resort Village of Manitou Beach, and a Suretys consent to provide other specified bonding. Bids shall be submitted electronically as described in the Project Manual. The Resort Village of Manitou Beach reserves the right to reject or accept any bid for any reason, without explanation, whether arbitrary, unreasonable, or otherwise.
