Renovation of a transportation facility in Seattle, Washington. Design plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of January 22, 2026, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to start later in the year and completion is expected in 2036. It is the objective of this project to renovate and modernize the South Satellite with systematic improvements that address its' structure, systems, architecture, retail and dining opportunities, and passenger amenities. Improvements to the facility will look to prioritize seismic upgrades, systems, and infrastructure replacement then capacity, operating efficiency, traveler comfort, and opportunities for airline tenant, retail and dining development. Design, construction administration, and closeout services to support the timely design, permitting, and successful delivery of the S Gates Renewal Program and S Concourse Evolution Project. Responsibilities will include providing a full design team to work with the Port and its project delivery team to complete the program using the GC/CM contract delivery method.
