The project consists of several areas; Area 1: S. 94th St and W. Waterford Ave; Area 2: neighborhood of S. 37th St between W. Barnard Ave & W. Edgerton Ave including W. Carpenter Ave, W. Holmes Ave & W. Vogel Ave; and Area 3: S. 36th St between W. Barnard Ave and W. Edgerton Ave. The project consists of approximately 5,000 linear feet of road rehabilitation. Major work items and approximate quantities include: 16,730 square yards asphaltic milling, 1,560 linear feet concrete curb and gutter spot repair, 2,800 square yards undistributed asphaltic base patching, 63 storm and sanitary structure adjustments or reconstructs, 4,760 linear feet of directionally drilled conduit, 15 each light pole bases, 10 each polymer concrete pull boxes, 2,010 tons asphaltic surface, and 1,120 square yards undistributed lawn restoration. All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Greenfield, in the amount equal to five percent of the bid. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through electronically for bids to be accepted. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within the 90-day period after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
