Hydraulic modelling, flood inundation mapping, flood hazard mapping, and summary reporting are the main deliverables of the study, but the scope of work includes the following tasks: (1) survey and base data collection, (2) open water hydrology assessment, (3) open water hydraulic modelling, (4) open water flood inundation mapping, (5) design flood hazard mapping, (6) reporting and documentation, and (7) project management. Important Note: Technical work is to be complete by the end of the contract, March 31, 2024. Municipal review and public engagement of reports and flood maps are expected to be undertaken by the Government of Alberta after technical work is complete. The contract may be extended and the scope of work adjusted to allow for revisions to modelling, mapping, and reporting products. c) Key Stakeholders The key stakeholders for this project are the Government of Alberta, the County of Grande Prairie, and the City of Grande Prairie.
