This RFQ contains a mixture of discrete projects and general types of projects for which the City is seeking the assistance of engineering consultants. The selected consultant(s) shall be tasked with assisting on the specified projects, as well as any unspecified projects that may fall within their respective area(s) of specialization. Please review the tasks described below for details on the potential scope of work associated with this RFQ. Consultants submitting SOQs for this solicitation shall specify which specialization or specializations for which they wish to be considered. There are four areas of specialization for which the City will be selecting consultants:
Pump Station Design
Pipeline Design (sewer and stormwater)
Asset Management Planning
Sewer Master Planning Consultants may select any or all of the above specializations for their submittal. Consultants will not be given special consideration for specializing in more than one area but will instead be evaluated separately for each specialization for which they submitted. Responses to this solicitation are therefore modular, such that responders shall provide qualifications separately for each specialization for which they wish to be considered. Firms that submit for more than one specialization may be awarded a contract to perform work related to one or more of the areas for which they applied. The City intends to select the best scoring firm or firms (up to four) that respond to this solicitation. The contract will be for two years and can be extended annually up to two times for a total possible maximum of a four-year contract period.
