The Town of East Lyme acting through its Public Works Department (the "Town") requests Statements of Qualifications for Professional Design Services from architectural and engineering firms or teams of architectural and engineering firms licensed in Connecticut to perform planning and design services to analyze and provide recommendations on existing and future uses of the East Lyme Community Center building located at 41 Society Rd, Niantic, CT 06357. The Town is experiencing a storage and operational space deficiency and a capacity issue at the Community Center and is unable to provide additional programing requested by residents. The building is approximately 36,000 square feet on 10.8 acres. It is currently used as the East Lyme Library, Senior Center, Registrar of Voters, Youth Center, and Parks and Recreation Offices.
