Bids are invited for work as follows: Demolition and Reconstruction of 2-bedroom home in Angleton to include Demolition and Reconstruction of a 2 bedroom home. Bid Bond of 5% of the contract price must accompany the bid if the bid exceeds $100,000. Payment bond will be required upon contract award for 100% of the bid amount. Attention is called to the fact that: Brazoria County welcomes, encourages and supports the response and active participation of qualified firms owned by minorities and/ or women. Bid must be complete with all forms completed and signed, and all required documents returned. Bid must include turn key product which may include, but is not limited to, any supplemental inspections for warranty, clean-up, and debris removal. Ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, the regulations set forth in 24 CFR Part 135, and all applicable rules and orders. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. Contractor must provide a list of all subcontractors to be used on this project. Brazoria County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Brazoria County for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
