Pursuant to the provisions of HRS 103D Procurement of Professional Services, the County of Kaua'i hereby provides public notice to invite persons engaged in the professional services listed below to submit current statements of qualifications and expressions of interest: Weke, Anae, Mahimahi and He'e Roads 6-Inch and 8-Inch Main Replacement. Provide services to assist the County of Kaua'i, Department of Water in completing the project's bid documents, which are approximately 90-percent complete, and all necessary permitting and provide services during bidding and construction. Project background: - The project will replace the following waterlines within the Hanalei water system, together with valves, fire hydrants, service laterals, connections and other waterline accessories. Waterline & Location 500 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) to replace 2-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe Mahimahi Road - Kuhio Highway to Weke Road 1,970 LF of 8-inch DIP to replace 2-inch and 2.5-inch galvanized steel (GS) pipe Weke Road - Malolo Road to Anae Road 490 LF of 6-inch DIP to replace 2.5-inch PVC pipe Weke Road - Anae Road to end of Weke Road 300 LF of 8-inch DIP to replace 2.5-inch PVC pipe Anae Road - Weke Road to Kuhio Highway 110 LF of 2.5-inch PVC pipe to replace 1.5-inch PVC pipe Anae Road - Weke Road to beach 110 LF of 2.5-inch PVC pipe to replace 1.5-inch PVC pipe He'e Road - Weke Road to beach Proposed scope of work: 1. Submit an environmental assessment exemption notice for the project. 2. Obtain all the necessary permits, including a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit. 3. Complete the project's bid documents (i.e. design drawings and Invitation for Bid (IFB), which includes the technical specifications) 4. Provide a construction cost estimate. 5.
