Carter and Judith N. Keep United States Courthouse, 333 W. Broadway, San Diego, CA. The tenant improvement includes construction of four (4) new magistrate chambers and Clerk of the Court office space on the 7th Floor of the Courthouse. This project will involve: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, elevator programming, fire and life safety, data, audio and visual, and security systems; the highest quality interior finishes; and premium quality millwork. The work must be performed after hours with no disruption to the existing building tenants and operations. The completion time for this project is 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The estimated cost range is between $1 million and $5 million. The proposed contract is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set Aside, in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with average annual receipts of less than $45 million for the last five (5) years. This project will be solicited utilizing FAR 15.1, Source Selection Processes and Techniques. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors considered. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for download on Website on or about March 22, 2023. Proposals will be due approximately 40 calendar days after the RFP is issued.
