Renovation of a mixed-use development in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
Interior Renovations (District 73 Office, Townline Elementary School, and Elementary School South) Trade Packages include; 06A-1 General Trades, 09G-1 Painting, 23A-1 HVAC, and 26A-1 Electrical. All Contractors shall use the Bid Day Label provided with their Bid Form. SCOPE OF WORK The project includes interior renovations throughout existing spaces located at the District 73 Office, Townline Elementary School, and Elementary School South. Prospective bidders should contact Lamp Incorporated (Kari Christensen, kchristensen@lampinc.net, 847-741-7220 x315) to be placed on the bid list. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. All Performance and Payment Bonds will be in accordance with the requirements stated in the AIA 232 General Conditions. Payment of Prevailing Wages are required for this project. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Hawthorn School District 73 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
