The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids. DESCRIPTION OF WORK These specifications are the minimum requirements for installation of foam padding and an IB PVC membrane roof system to the Club House roof at Park Hills Golf Course. 1. The existing layer from the main flat roof must be removed. 2. All debris from removal and installation activities must be cleaned up daily. 3. A new metal roof edge will be installed around the perimeter of the roof. Edging metal color needs to match the roof membrane. 4. 1/2 " fan fold foam must be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. 5. New roof membrane shall match the color of the roof being replaced. 60mil IB roof PVC membrane shall be installed in compliance with manufacturer's specifications. All seams of roof membrane will be heat welded. All chimney flashings, soil pipe flashings, ventilator flashings, and perimeter edge detail will be prefabricated from the manufacturer and installed according to manufacturer's specifications. The existing mechanical attachments shall be removed and replaced in a way compatible with the new membrane. 6. The contractor shall provide a manufacturer's full fifteen (15) year labor and material warranty to the Freeport Park District upon completion of the job. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION of WORK to be PERFORMED Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall provide all supplies, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items orservices necessary to provide for installation of foam padding and an IB PVC membrane roof system.
