Construction of 0.25 miles of limestone screenings trail, concrete flatwork, site grading and drainage structure installation, and landscape installation with site restoration seeding. Bid Bond Required Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. This project is being funded, in part, with State of Illinois Bike Path Grant Program funding assistance made available through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
