Bids are invited upon the items and quantities of work as follows: North Burt Lift Station Improvements South Burt Lift Station Improvements Bidding documents including Drawings, Project Manual, Addenda, List of Plan Holders of Record, and Bid Tabulations will be available in Adobe PDF format at portal through City Blue Technologies, (Tel.: 800-747-6500). Bidders are strongly encouraged to register at portal as a Prime Bidder or Sub-Contractor to ensure timely receipt of bidding documents and notices relative to this bid and be listed as a plan holder. The Owner and Engineer are NOT responsible for any incompleteness of bidding documents made available from sources other than portal. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Auxvasse, Missouri, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that noless than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Auxvasse reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Auxvasse for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bidsand investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. No Pre-bid conference is scheduled.
