For construction of the Campus Steam Decommissioning. 1. Areas of work: Multiple Buildings a. Removal of existing heating systems to include but not limited to boilers, boiler pumps, heating system pumps, steam heat exchangers, steam condensate pumps, and associated controls, piping, and electrical. b. Removal of air cooled chiller and piping at BOM #1. c. Installation of new boilers and boiler pumps. d. Installation of new connection to campus central thermal heating and cooling piping. e. Extension of new boiler gas vents and combustion air intakes to exterior. f. Natural gas piping work to connect new boilers. g. DDC controls for the new equipment. h. Electrical work associated with heating system removal and replacement. General contractors; prime mechanical contractors are required to prequalify prior to requesting Bid Documents.
