Compensation Type: Fixed Rate of Compensation Q&A deadline: 02/07/2023 11:00 AM County(s): Eureka, Elko Augmentation of Crew 912 and Crew 918 on I-80 at Beowawe Interchange, Carlin, and West Wendover This RFP is for augmenting Crew 912 and Crew 918 on three (3) concurrent projects in Eureka and Elko Counties as follows: Contract 3936 on Interstate 80 (I-80) includes the installation of a truck climbing lane. Contract 3939 is a pavement rehabilitation project on I-80 east of the Carlin Tunnels. Project NHP-080-5(042) is a pavement preservation project on I-80 at the Pilot Peak Interchange, which consists of sign and striping replacement, hydraulic, structure, lighting, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements. The Department is seeking to hire one firm to to perform professional and technical engineering services to ensure that the construction of Contract 3936, Contract 3939 and Project NHP-080-5(042) on I-80, in Eureka and Elko Counties, are accomplished in conformance with the plans and specifications. Consultant staff may be assigned to either project incorporated in this RFP under the direction of the Crew 912 and Crew 918 Resident Engineers. The estimated construction schedule for both projects is March of 2023 through July of 2024, which may change based on the Contractor's schedule.
