Kidder-Harris Highway District will accept sealed bids for 10 - 000 tons of 3/4 inch maintenance gravel - 5 - 000 ton 5/8" seal coat rock and 5 - 000 tons of 1/2 inch chips and 5 - 000 tons of plant mix to be crushed at the Beaverslide Pit located on Beaverslide road - 3 miles east of Kamiah - Idaho. Rock Specifications to match: 3/4 100% 5/8 95-100% 1/2 90-100% 1/2 100% 1/2 70-98% 1/2 - 90-98% 3/8 80-90% 3/8 60-90% #4 - 44-70% 3/8 75-90% #4 30-65% 4 0-30% #8 30-54% #4 30-50% #8 15-40% 8 0-10% 30 15-34% #8 15-30% 30 15-30% 200 9-15% 200 2-6% 200 2-9% SE 55 SE 55 The contractor shall take and test rock samples a minimum of once per day to check for proper rock specifications. The appropriate Public Works Contractors License shall be required. Proof of Workman's Compensation coverage will also be required. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid shall be required at the time of bid opening. When the crushing is complete - the successful bidder will be responsible for all reclamation and cleanup of the rock pit. The successful bidder shall forfeit bid bond if not completed by June 30 - 2023. The Board of Commissioner's reserves the right to reject any or all bids. For more information contact:
