Renovation of a detention facility in Concord Township, Pennsylvania. Design plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Public Works Department has contracted with an architectural firm to complete design documentation for renovations in the kitchen at the George W Hill Correctional facility. The renovation will include a reconfiguration of the floor plan to improve operations and the replacement of aged kitchen equipment. The design phase will continue into 2025. This project is included in the county's fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of September 18, 2025, information regarding design firm and general contractor has not been released. Further details regarding firm construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
