Renovation of a detention facility in Concord Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The HVAC units and roof on the main resident facilities at GW Hill Correctional Facility are at the end of their useful life and have been identified to be replaced. The project is undertaken as a design-build for efficiency and overall cost-savings. This project is included in the county's fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of September 24, 2025, the project is currently under construction. The completion timeline has not been released. Information regarding design firm, construction manager, and general contractor has not been disclosed.
