Site work for a civil project in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
As of March 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded tonight. CADD FILE 2103560007 The project consists of the replacement of an existing 5-foot diameter riveted steel pipe under a portion of Bolmar Street approximately 408-feet Northwest of its intersection with Autopark Boulevard. The existing culvert will be replaced with twin 58 x 91-inch elliptical concrete pipes and two (2) new concrete end walls. A portion of the existing gravity sanitary sewer and public water main will also be replaced as part of this project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of West Goshen Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of West Goshen Township in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. West Goshen Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
