Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Sky park Improvements Project scope of work includes, but is not limited to :demolition and site preparation; paving and hard scape ;playground area with drain sump; installation of playground area surfacing (engineered wood fiber); site furishing installation excluding playground equipment, drinking found, benches, and bicycle racks);coordination with District- retained playground equipment installer; site furnishing delivery. coordination, storage, and placement ;landscape and irrigation improvements; and other site work. The work consists, in general, of furnishing all permits, materials, labor, services, tools, plants supplies, equipment, management, superintendence, and all other work necessary to provide for the sky park improvements project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certificate of Deposit, certified or cashiers check, Bidders Bond or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Bidders Grand Total Bid Price. The Bid Guaranty will be retained by District and applied to any and all damages sustained by District in the event that the successful Bidder fails or refuses to enter in to the Agreement awarded to it and to furnish all required bonds and Certificates of Insurances. If the lowest responsible, responsive bidder refuses or fails to execute the Agreement or provide an acceptable Performance Bond, Payment Bond, insurance certificate. District intends to award the Agreement to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder based on the Base Bid Price. To the extent allowed by law, District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding procedure. District specifically reserves the right to not award the Agreement after the opening bids.
