SPECIFICATIONS & SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all additional items necessary to perform all work required for the completion of work and as specified in the Request for Bid (RFB).All work shall conform to all Local and State building, health, and fire codes. The Contractor shall start the work after March 20, 2023. Work shall be performed from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Contractor shall be responsible for filing any trade permits with the Town of Greenwich Building Department. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Subcontractors to obtain all required trade permits required by code. The Contractor shall be responsible for site security, properly posting the construction site, and maintenance of the necessary barricades around open excavations and/or dangerous conditions. The Contractor shall follow all O.S.H.A. safety regulations while performing work per the Specifications and shall work in a courteous and workmanship-like manner. Contractor shall Page | 11 properly dispose of all debris generated from this project at Contractor's expense. The Contractor shall be responsible for the disposal of all materials removed from the existing areas and determined not to be re-used. Contractor shall maintain a clean site by not allowing accumulation of debris on site. The Contractor shall uninstall and remove the existing cooling towers at the Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink. The Contractor shall source and install the new cooling towers. The Town requires the cooling towers to be manufactured by Baltimore Aircoil Company as that has been engineered to fit the connections and space available. The Town will not accept any alternatives. Note: It has been determined by the Town that the lead time to secure materials for this project may be up to seventeen (17) weeks.
