Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of streetscape enhancement adjacent to the Mifflin County Campus. The County intends to enter into two contracts for such - General Construction and an Electrical Construction (which are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act if over $25,000). Bidders can view the Project Manual at the reception counter of the Mifflin County Commissioners Office or through various construction plan services. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check, Trust Company Treasurers Check or Certified Check made payable to Mifflin County in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid proposal. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Mifflin County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any bids, or to waive any informality in the bid process when it is in the best interest of Mifflin County and may reject the bid of any bidder who they determine is not qualified to perform the Contract. The construction duration is currently scheduled to start approximately April 10, 2023 and be fully complete by September 15, 2023.
