You are invited to bid on a general contract, including any and all electrical and mechanical work for a Housing Rehabilitation construction project, all as described on the contract documents prepared by the City of Gainesville, Neighborhood Improvement Department. The purpose and scope of these specifications is to establish the requirements for a contract for the construction of a new single family dwelling unit. The City of Gainesville (hereafter "City") is accepting responses/proposals to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document. The City reserves the following rights: to waive clarifications and exceptions in awarding the bid/proposal in the best interest of the City; to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals; to waive any or all irregularities; and to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive Bidder/Offeror whose bid/proposal is determined by the City to be in its best interest.
