Building Renovations and Classroom Pavilions. The Owner, the Guilderland Central School District, will receive separate sealed bids to furnish material and labor to complete District Wide 2021 Capital Project. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: Contract No. 06 General Construction Work Prime Contract (GC) Contract No. 07 Plumbing Work Prime Contract (PC) Contract No. 08 Mechanical Work Prime Contract (MC) Contract No. 09 Electrical Work Prime Contract (EC) Contract No. 10 Roofing Work Prime Contract (RC) Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid Opening. Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. This project is publicly funded. The Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. The Guilderland Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation This Section specifies uniform safety standards for school construction projects as required by the NY State Education Department in compliance with the Commissioner's Regulations, Title 8, NYCRR, Part 155.5, relating to: 1. Occupied portions of the building. 2. General safety and security standards. 3. Separation of construction areas from occupied spaces. 4. Control of noise. 5. Control of contaminates. 6. Control of volatile organic compounds. 7. Asbestos abatement projects
